Today marks the official 1-Year Anniversary for Graduated And Clueless!  Yeah!  This blog and website have been through numerous changes and seen significant growth over the last year.  In the beginning I set out to provide advice for clueless college grads, hoping to offer practical and insightful information that you could put to use immediately.  One year later I am more committed than ever to providing material and resources that contribute real value to every reader.  I have been blogging about life after college, personal development, careers, finances, health, and many more seemingly random topics, though I usually do try to write about stuff people actually care about.  The response to the site and the blog posts have been wonderful and I’m very excited about all the updates to come in the next year!  To catch up on what has happened recently you can check out my this post.  As for things to come, I’ll be unveiling new stuff periodically and probably without notice.  The only thing you will definitely know about ahead of time is the launch of the book.  To stay completely in the know you can subscribe to the email newsletter.

NEW Opportunity: We are changing directions slightly here at Graduated And Clueless.  The business and the website up to this point have been focusing on the transition from school to the real world, helping individuals with finances, organization, insurance, careers, and more.  After viewing the results of the survey, poll, blog comments, emails, facebook messages, tweets, and every other form of communication we have, the prevailing desire is to focus on passions and careers.  More specifically, how to discover your life’s greatest passion/calling, and then apply that to your career or business.  So, we’re heading in that direction.  We now have a new, refined mission statement which will propel us forward in the best direction we could imagine.  In addition, we have touched up the appearance of the site with a new logo.  So take a look around and let us know what you think.

Success!  I finally got the most important piece of my business, the right to pay taxes!  Yeah!  I want to give a big THANK YOU to Metropolitan Nashville, Davidson County, and the State of Tennessee!  Now, when this business begins to sell stuff I can give a fatty chunk to the government.  This must mean that I’m now legitimate, but somehow the letter in the mail wasn’t as exciting as I had hoped.  I was expecting some sort of message of congratulations or a small thank you for starting a business from the State, but all I got was a payment plan so that I can avoid jail time for tax evasion.  Kind of a downer, but I’m still excited!  I’m not in the mood to blame people for anything, I’m in the mood to celebrate!  So, this weekend I’m heading to (more…)
